Kee Gan is the Chief Investment Officer of L1 Property. Kee leads and is responsible for, the overall investment activity and strategic direction of the Fund. Prior to joining L1, Kee spent 10 years in Corporate Finance at Deutsche Bank working in Leveraged Debt Capital Markets and Mergers & Acquisitions. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Kee was an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company providing strategic advice to a range of public and private corporates. Kee holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Actuarial Studies) with First Class Honours from the University of Melbourne
David is a Director of L1 Property and is responsible for overseeing asset allocation and fund management. He has over 18 years of experience in business and financial markets including roles at Credit Suisse in Investment Banking and Leveraged & Acquisition Finance, at Bain & Company consulting to a range of Australian and global companies and as Portfolio Manager for the Alter Family Office, one of Australia’s largest family offices. David is also the founder of Kentgrove Capital, an Australian based investment management firm and is Chairman of ASX listed NGE Capital. Previously David was a Director of Powerwrap, a wealth management platform with ~A$7 billion FUA. David qualified as an actuary from the Institute of Actuaries of Australia specialising in Investments and Finance and holds a Bachelor in Commerce from the University of Melbourne, with First Class Honours.
Joel is a Director of L1 Property. Joel has 14 years’ experience in the financial services sector, including 10 years at L1 Capital. Prior to joining L1 Capital, Joel worked as a management consultant at SPP, providing high level strategy advice to large listed companies, government departments and universities. Before that, Joel co-founded and ran an IT consulting business for 7 years. Joel holds an undergraduate degree in Information Systems from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Applied Finance from Kaplan Education.
Ben is the Chief Operating Officer of L1 Property. He is responsible for the fund’s op model (data, systems and tools, process, skills and capabilities, people, risk management) and is focussed on driving robustness and efficiency in L1 Property’s operations. Prior to joining L1, Ben worked at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), advising listed companies in the UK, Benelux and Switzerland on strategy and operations. Prior to BCG, Ben worked at Deloitte as an actuary and in corporate finance. Ben holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) from The University of Melbourne and is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (FIA) with specialisations in Finance & Investments and Life Insurance.
Laura Wicks has over 12 years of experience in residential property management. Prior to joining L1 Capital, Laura held prior roles as an Asset Management Director of PRS at Jones Lang LaSalle, Head of Property Management at Get Living, Regional Director of Property Management at Countrywide plc and more recently was responsible for Built to Rent asset management strategy for Realstar Group
Danielle has over 8 years’ experience in asset management. Prior to joining the Investment Advisor, Danielle was a Development Manager at Hammerson PLC. Danielle is also a Chartered Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS). Danielle is also a Member of ULI (Urban Land Institute). Danielle graduated from the University of Cambridge.
